Thinking of 2014

The last day of another year it is. I believe its okay to spend sometime to recollect how the year went by, how worthy it was or rather was it of any worth, personally! 2014 was overall not a bad year for me. I bade adieu to my workplace where I spent/toiled for 9.5 years.. almost a decade. It was a long, but a good journey for me. The journey transformed myself from a college kid to a professional, however pseudo it may be. Made really great friends and brought home memories to cherish for the rest of my life; and ofcourse a decennary of learning-unlearning-relearning. As they say it - For what it's worth it was worth all the while...

I joined this new place now and lets see how life treats me in here. Its too early to say anything about it now.

I watched 104 movies of different languages in the whole year.  Two movies a week, not bad! The list of all the movies I watched is in here:

I had a two week long trip to US. Official one mixed with family. I drove a VW Passat for the first time and it was an amazing experience. Went to Reno, did camping in Big Basin and had a lot of fun.

Most part of the year, I saw and experienced how office politics, favoritism and totalitarianism of someone in the team can spoil your work environment to such an extent that when you woke up in the morning, you feel that uneasiness and don't feel like going to office. I finally managed to get rid of it. A sigh of relief.

And most importantly, I wrote my first book in this year. The book is available for pre-order now and will be generally available towards the end of January - 2015.

A year, an okay dokay type it was and indeed good in some instances. Hope 2015 will be another peaceful and enriching one.
Wishing all a very Happy, Prosperous and Joyous New Year - 2015!
