The Feeling of Belonging...

26/11 - Mumbai Terror Attacks showed us how a feeling of belonging can unite us against the evils. Although I was among those millions of Indians who were sitting in front of TVs, in a state of utter anger, frustrated, desperate seeing their bleeding country; it was our Heroes in Uniform who put their lives in stake for the country. I can well imagine that it was not just beyond the call of duty but the security forces were doing something far more than that. The CCTV footage of CST showing two policement tackling the hardcore terrorists with just one primitive gun was truly inspiring for every Indian. It was a sense of belonging to this nation, to this society which gave them the energy and determination to those security personnels to face the bullets of the evil forces. If such a feeling ever come to the minds and hearts of our notorious politicians, probably our country will be a better place to live in. Our country is paying the price of filithy politics - be it Babri Masjid Demolition, be it Godhra Riots. And above all these is the politics which the British did 61 years ago - the Two Nation Theory. But the damage is already done. The need of the hour is to wake up and grow that feeling of belonging within us. The day when we achieve this, elements like LeT, JeM or any terrorist outfts will look like silly toilet germs, which can be killed with just any toliet cleaners. Amen...
